Ten days after a second-quarter financial report filled with positive news, the largest shareholder of Advanced Micro Devices Inc. — and one of its board members — sold 40 million of the company's shares. United Arab Emirates-based Mubadala Investment Co. made $529.6 million on the Aug. 4 deal, based on AMD's (Nasdaq: AMD) Aug. 3 closing price of $13.24, Reuters reported.
