Old Settler's Music Festival is moving out of Driftwood a year earlier than expected. The bluegrass and folk festival has been going strong for 30 years, and since 2002 was held at the Salt Lick BBQ pavilion about 20 miles southwest of downtown Austin. The festival was set to leave in 2019, but festival organizers received on Aug. 8 a letter from Salt Lick owner Scott Roberts telling them that they would have to find a new home for their 2018 event.
